extra hp for us down south

Forgive me if I dont answer right away,I just got home.I heard on a LS1 we can gain about 12 hp from bypassing the hot water flowing into our TB.Can anyone send a pic on what hose's to clamp for this,I have seen a pic in a mag but could not see too well.

There are two hoses on your TB, one on the driver side and one on the passanger side. Disconnect both of those lines and then you need some type of hard connector that is hallow and has an opening at both ends and that will fit inside those lines. Then connect the two lines with your hard connection. Sorry, no pics, I don't even have a LS1 car, lol...

I hear you can get decent numbers from it:

Granted that is on an LT1 though.

instructions
the throttle body bypass AND the screen removal may result in a (hopeful) 3-4hp gain.

but if you are sensitive enough to feel this...i'm impressed!

but for free or near free...it's worth it.

combine the bypass with a 160* thermostat to keep the engine running cooler and you will be all set.
