Engine question (sleeving or not)

a friend of mine has a hole thru the side of a cylinder,when the piston disentagrated . is it a good idea to sleeve the cylinder or get another block ? its a chevy 350 in a 85 camaro . anyone any pros or cons about sleeving or not.?..

A new or reconditioned block is cheap. Never resleeve a SBC 350. Not worth it..
