Early 95 v6 3.4 liter camaro

As the title says I have an early 95 camaro which I am the third owner of. I recently had the head gaskets replaced because they blew out and now my Camaro is overheating the radiator is brand new along with the heater hoses. Other parts replaced include egr valve both oxygen sensors all three coil packs spark plugs and wires along with the alternator. The radiator is full of the universal green antifreez (mechanic put it in instead of orange dexcool)and recently when I was driving my car overheated and the radiator forced a lot of the coolant into the reservoir tank and filled it to the brim of almost overflowing the fan for the radiator runs fine so what's going on with my car any help would be greatly appreciated.

The regional forums tend to be very slow, so tech question will get better results on one of the "tech" forums. If you want, I can move your question to the "General 67-02 F-Body Tech" forum. I'd say maybe "V6 Tech", but that forum is also on the slow side.
