What's the best place to get some custom wheels in the Ocala area??? I have been trying to get a set of Bullet 180 series that look like Crager's but am having a horrible time getting someone to actually carry through with a sale so I think I will need to look at something else.

I've heard that place out in Oklawaha is good. My friend bought 20s for his Tahoe there. Speedlab I think is the name. Its straight out maricamp towards Silver Springs Shores.

Im not sure what the wheels look like, but I got a set of ZR1 17's of ebay for like 500 bucks.

 

I used to work at the Firestone next to the police station. Go talk to Robert Abney. He used to be the store manager when I worked there, he may be able to make it happen. Tell him Abe sent you.

Yeah, Robert's car is pretty sick. And that was 1.5 years ago, I'm sure he's blown more money on it by now (no pun intended). Too bad he can't drive.

By the way, what kind of tires did you get? I'm gonna need some soon myself.

 

Actually put a set of all Terrain tires on my Nissan Frontier. But I did recently get a set for my camaro. I ordered Summitomo's off tire rack. Put 315/50/17's on the rear for like 115 bucks a piece.

LOL, My buddy I was working out with yesterday said the same thing about Robert. He said he ran a 12 somting in the quater, then let someone else drive and ran a 10..

As for Robert, he was running 12's when he first bought that car, ran 12's once he put a pulley on it, ran 12's with the full custom exhaust, tires, will probably always run 12's. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see somebody who can drive put that car in the 10's.

well fellas i raced him i can dig out a time slip if you like i think weve had like two or three runs. they were before i had my blower and his car was down, so we didnt get to go blower for blower. but i have several witnesses that will say i had him at halftrack then he pulled me. robert is a good guy, his car should be pretty quick after his recent round of mods. as far as the driving issue "no comment" lol. i had like maybe 6000 including the price of the car in mine and id say he has to be like 60,000 in his after all the times it has been backing forth getting work done. i dont have anything quick anymore so i cant talk any smack.

 

Robert's a great guy that's why I recommended him for the wheels. He'll always help a brother out.

 

Well I'm a car guy regaurdles of what i drive(2003 1000hp cobra) but when i get on the net & read hatters talking junk when they have never seen 10"s as i have been 9.51 @ 148.8 in the 1/4 mile with a full street car with a/c and everything your girlfreind likes!! I would like to see what these guys are driving now,since it's been years since thay ran there mouths last! Your right move on 9.50"s to 9.18 but whos counting right! I didn"t dig up old b/s but replied to see where theses guys are now,they seemed to talk alot on the net but not to me for we live in the same town. I'm a car guy,hotrod guy & a person that wants everybody to go fast not a hatter!
