Craftsman Riding lawn mower in ft. lauderdale $100 obo
42" blade
6-speed riding lawnmower
12.5 horsepower motor
Made by craftsman
Grass cacther/bagger
Alright wondering what the catch is huh?
Its I think ~12 years old, bought brand new. It turns on runs, drives, isn't rusty(well if there is its minimal)
I'll take a look at it tomorrow but these are the problems my dad mentioned, He will fiddle with stuff for a little bit but he didn't wanna be playing with it too much and just gave in and bought a new one(18 hp Craftsman)
Now the problems...
-Something wrong with the blade system, not quite sure what it is but they don't work.
-Steering is a little messed up, at the moment it doesn't turn left, it turns right but its a simple setup. Its like a go-cart steering setup, my dad said he was going to fix it, just need to slide something into something and it works but he didn't bother when the blade system crapped out.(I might look and see if I can fix it myself)
-Hood cover is sort of jerry rigged on, you don't even need it on for it to run or anything (I think we set something heavy on it, like a bag of salt for the water softeener or my bro hit something with it)
-tires are bald, one or two are currently flat, my dad thinks they still hold air just been sitting, for a few months since he got the new one
-And you would have to pick it up its in Plantation Acres (Broward/Flamingo RD)
Like 5 min from Sawgrass Mills.
I think its a decent deal, It is just chilling in my parent's 3rd garage 2 spots over from my dad's '01 C5.
Fix it, use it or fix it, sell it. Make sure you contact me about it, I am leaving here tomorrow night but my parents sort of want it gone. But not the type to deal with selling stuff. But I might be willing to come down and help them get rid of it.
