Clutch Died!!!! 2000 Ss

Well my clutch to a sh*t on me wed. I only have 44k miles.

Just driving along normally....shifted into 3rd and grind, crunch, mesh, clank!!!

"What the?"

Sounded like the bearing fell apart.... I continued to drive and it was hard to get the clutch to catch.... when it did the car would move... but getting it to do it was like...AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

2000 SS M6.... got it brand new never had any problem at all with the car until WED

Of course I passed on the warranty....8k miles out.... still in on time though....But I drive to much!

I LOVE TO DRIVE MY SS!!

Well I got the upgraded 02 clutch from chevy.....

should get my car back today.

44 K is actually a lot for a clutch. LS1 clutches blow.

Hey Sean. I thought I saw you drive past the Longwood show today, but you didn't stop in.

Mine is at 41k and still going. Only stuck down and smoked once. I am thinking this fall for a replacement....

Longwood show was lame. Weather prevented a lot from going out I bet.

Makes you feel better I trashed the clutch, flywheel, and master cylinder on a 2000 3.8L camaro with 7,000 milles on the car

Good thing I was in Orlando and my dad was in Ft. Lauderdale, I had it fixed under warranty before I even told him it was broke
