Can someone help!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone.

I bought a t56 transmission from a guy named Philip Smith (Ocala Florida) and I´m wondering if someone knows this guy.

I sent him a money order for total of 491.50$ for a t56 with bad synchro in 2nd gear, I sent the money order 6th of september, and I have not heard from the guy for a whole month.

Well then he told me that it had a broken mainshaft and he was trying to get another one for it but, it has taken some serious beating if the mainshaft is broken.

So all I´m relly trying is getting my money back, and I already bought another t56 for my car.

I have all the e-mails that have gone between us, complete address, and the money order copy, I also got a hold of the police department in ocala florida.

So please Philip if you read this: send me my money back and stop this nonsence.

Sincerely, Jon Jonasson.

He kept replying that he was real busy and would send me the tracking number shortly. A month later not tracking number either. I've gotten paypal involved and hopefully will get my $$$$ back, if not i'm craking some skulls .

Best of luck in finding your money. Hey if you want, i'm sure i can round up some guys on this board and we can go kick his aZZ for you! I can take out my frustration on him and possibly get your money back.

Hmmmmm. I just autocrossed this past Sunday against a guy with a black LT1 Trans Am. I'm pretty sure his name was Phillip Smith too. It might be the same guy. Man, I pounded him bad . But I guess his LT1 is a little disadvantaged against my new SS.

I know a couple people in Ocala that might know him. Send me an email and I'll see if I can help.

chjesthe@hotmail.com

If it is the same guy, he doesn't make things right for you and he shows up at another event, I'll be sure to call in some extra cones down or something.

Oops. It was actually Jeff Smith on Sunday. How did you connect with this guy? Was it from here at CamaroZ28?

Thanks for the support guy's.

Well here is the story, I was bidding on a t56 on eBay and did not win the auction, so this guy sent me an e=mail and told me that he had one for 400$ with a bad synchro in 2nd gear, this was just the tranny, no bellhousing or nothing, I aggred with this and sent him the money plus shipping.

Later he sent me an e=mail that he just took the tranny out of the car and he saw that the mainshaft was broken, so I told him that did not sound too good, and also told him if the mainshaft is broken that the tranny had taken some serious beating!

He told me that he was trying to get another mainshaft for it, and that was almost a month ago and I have not heard a word from him since.

I have sent him many e-mails so far and no reply's yet.

I will not be as mad as I am right now if he reply's to me and does something about this.

I am a student trying to get my 93 purple gray trans am together, and 491$ dollar loss is not helping me.

But it seems that these are the risks of buying parts from the internet, I have bought a whole bunch, and this has not been a problem until now.

Thanks, Jon.
