Re: anyone wanna help work on a camaro tomorrow?

for the most part rear swap is done...

tranny is out, I already pulled belhousing put in new clutch slave and reinstalled bellhousing.

Right now I am debating on the rear main seal, and I think I am screwed on the flywheel. Might have to order a new one, oddly enough GM seems to be the cheapest.

no finger prints on the flywheel, its been wiped down.

I still need to do my poly torque arm bushing, but what I mainly will need help with is putting hte tranny back in the car, other odds and ends I can take care of easily.

Don't bother. You will fry another clutch in the future. You can do it then...

How much is the flywheel? That one is probably turnable. Looks a little hot spots.....

What did you do to the rear end?

nothing my rear is fine.

jsut got a deal on a '02 rear with an auburn and 3.42s. gonna try it out, if its good and helps me, then I will part out my rear, or sell it.

I got my 3.42 rear local for $120, I can sell my diff as is on a v6 board for $150 no problem.

as for the flywheel, looking at it, not going to trust resurfacing it. I just bought a new one. It looks worse then the pic suggests. I also decided not to swap the rear main seal.

Eric, did your car have 3.23's or 3.42's stock? Will it be ready to run tomorrow night? I'll be at OSW, w/o my car though... still broken.

Look for a Silver 05' GTO if you go... I'll be around that car.
