If anyone in the area has experience with video editing and has the equipment and some free time, I could really use your help. My group for my Cornerstone class wants to make a video for a class presentation. I can borrow my roommates' camera for shooting, but as far as editing the finished product i have no clue. my roommate had to do that last semester for his class. they probably had the best video. one of their friends knows all of that stuff and put together an awesome video. hopefully the teacher will show you guys the video. most of it was filmed at my house. its got a real world section, commercial w/ a girl falling through the desk, and then blind date. the ending has outtakes and i'm the one in costume. like i said, you gotta see it.

 

I think on the second floor of the classroom building they have alot of video stuff they can lend out to students. We borrowed a nice camera and a tripod from there.


As for any Cornerstone presentations, have everything covered. In my calss room the CD drive didn't work so half the class could not do there presentations, luckily I had zip disks I needed for another class, and I knew where all the good computers with zip drives were and we snuck out during the first presentation.

Seriously though, even if i got my hands on the editing equipment i wouldn't know how to use it. I had to bold editing so Brett didn't bust my chops for that sentence too.

Hey if you do check out the place on in the classroom building can you ask if they will lend out nice digital cameras?

 

I have a camera, i just need someone with video editing software and the knowhow to use it.

 

VCR? Just do what my group did, perfect one practice take, one mess up take, and one perfect take of a 10 min. movie
