Anyone Recommend a Tile Installer in Orlando?

We're going to be installing tile in our home and are interested in getting a reference for a high-quality, reliable, licensed/insured tile installer. Anyone have one they can refer?

Thanks in advance...

Try giving Rodney Kemp a Call

Just giving you a warning though, he's a mustang guy...lol. He's got a nasty supercharged Mach 1. He's a good guy though, see what he can do for you.

Re: Anyone Recommend a Tile Installer in Orlando?

We used tile4U at my work...

Bigger company, good tile, but they hire private contractors to come do it..

they installed alot of tile at my work, tile laid was good, but they trashed a room cutting tile, always late, and finished the job 2 days after they said it was done. And they barely spoke english.

but they were the lowest bidder and we have decent tile job. Just a pain in my ***.

give them a call and see if they are in your price range. best thing to do is get a few bids. you probably already knew that though. another thing with tile setters, is if you try to lower there price, they will lower there quality
let them know Brian gave you there number

just do it yourself. you've never hurt so bad in your life!

i'd agree with Brian, you are gonna pay for what you get, and it's amazing how bad it can look a few weeks later.

FWIW, tile vice carpet lowered power bill and made house few degrees cooler (on a slab) for us, that alone was worth it. it's basically concrete though, and VERY hard to walk on, have to wear house shoes inside all time.

FWIW, i would not recommend doing it yourself if you have a really nice house,
it's not easy to fix, and a buddy made a mess of his, all wiggly.

luck.
