Anyone interested in dyno tuning?

I will be in Jacksonville for a few days around August 6-7th. Anyone interested in dyno or in person tuning?

If I get at least 4-5 people, I will find a shop and set up the date and time, otherwise I could tune your car in person.

Thanks.

Re: Anyone interested in dyno tuning?

well if you could help me figure out what in the heck all these values mean for the spark tables and all that that would be cool. I have a 93 btw so dyno tuning would be a hit or miss. I am trying to start burning my own chips and have a burner, eraser and stuff but am just having trouble figuring out everything and havent really got a clue where to start.
thanks

Re: Anyone interested in dyno tuning?

Why would dyno tuning be a hit or miss? I burn chips for 93s (including mine) so tuning yours won't be a problem. Doing it on the dyno is the best way you can do it. Of course, you're welcome to watch all the changes to the fuel and spark tables if you want.

Re: Anyone interested in dyno tuning?

Oops, sorry about that. I guarantee a gain of at least 13 RWHP + you can do a bunch of other useful things, so it's really up to you. I can get it close enough with a mail order or in person tune considering you're not too far from stock, but if you want to see before and after numbers and a 100% dead on tune, do it on the dyno.

Re: Anyone interested in dyno tuning?

Oh no. I'll be in jacksonville a few days after that. I was the one wanting a dyno tune from you too!!! I'd be home but it would be worthless since I haven't even been able to change the valvesprings yet. Otherwise I'd be all over it...

Check you email and you'll see what I'm talking about...

Plan on being back any time soon? This sucks, I come home on the 6th!!!

Re: Anyone interested in dyno tuning?

I'm visiting a friend in Jacksonville so I won't be able to drive to other towns.
$200 for 94-97 LT1/LT4/L99
$250 for 93 LT1
$300 for LS1/LS6

+ the dyno fee the shop will charge you.

These prices are for dyno tunes. If you don't want a dyno tune, but just tuning, check out my website for prices.

PS. I should be there on the 8th and will stay for 3-5 days, maybe a little more, depends on if there's interest in this.

Kenney,
sorry, I missed your post. Yes, I tune blown cars as well. It will be a little more expensive (+$50) and you will have to make sure everything is running correctly before the dyno day. (I recommend new plugs, wires, o2 sensors if you haven't already done these)
