removing the intake is super easy though, seriously, its like 12 bolts and a bunch of wires. the only special tool you'll need is a fuel line quick connection tool to take the fuel lines off the fuel rail
but its cake, seriously, just get that tool, a socket set, the correct fel-pro gaskets (they have them at ANY auto parts store), and some high temperature RTV that is sensor safe and just go at it.

Fix it yourself man, its intimidating to tear into a motor the first time, but you find it easier and easier every time you do it. Its a process like everything else, The only way you couldn't get it apart is if you didn't have the tools. There are a few special tools you can grab at discount auto, like fuel injector removal tools, which you might not even need. Grab a Hanes manual, make a diagram, label all the bolts in ziplock bags, and make a weekend of it.
