yeah I went and bought it so it'll be at my house by saturday

 

it has some work done to it and we might be able to work a deal on some of the performance parts off of it.

yeah it'll be here in my backyard by friday. there's not a hole alot of good body parts but there is the driver's side tail light that's in mint shape. We can do that bushing sometime this weekend just let me know

Hey Phil,

Got good news and bad news. The car ran like a champ after I pilled the chip out and put it back in. This morning when I left for school it was running fine, but after it got warmed up it started acting like it was missing and stumbling a bit. It was not bogging down like it had been but still running weird. What do you think? Guess I will have to trailer it to the track so it will be cold when I start it up!

we really need to scan that thing and see what it is doing driving donw the road, it might be just running that rich. It's hard to say with out looking at the car and driving it with the scanner hooked up. i work days now and I can look at it any night that you have open.


Now for my good news bad news... I drove my car to Orlando Monday night, the first time I've drove the car that far in about 2 years. Well the car ran great all the way there and almost all of the way back, till I hit the hardest rain I've seen in a long time, there had to be 2 inches of water on the interstate and big puddles here and there all over the place. Well needless to say after about 4 or 5 of these big puddles the car started to miss really bad. I ended up nursing it home and had to pull the opti and dry it out damn thing !!!! Oh just to let you know that my 4:10's @ 80 MPH turn 2,400 RPMS a bit much for alot of highway driving and just like I was saying about 3K in yours . Well I thought I would sare that with you and let me know what night you can swing by and will have a look at yours.

dang man that sucks about your opti. Did you have to get gas when you got down to orlando? I am going to gainesville tomorrow for gatornationals, but might be back in time to swing by, If I cant then maybe saturday if that is cool.

Now I have really bad news. Just got in a wreck. Some lady slammed on her brakes right in front of me and I couldnt stop in time. The front of the car is pretty messed up. The rear got tapped. The car drives fine, but one headlight and the motor and all that crap is messed up. The other head light works but will only go down half way. The hood is pretty bent up, passenger side quarter panel is f!@#$% up, the nose is also f'ed up. I dont know man. Think I need to sell some of my stuff to fix it.

You're right, I haven't been up there to a WUR meet in a long time. Things have changed a lot with that group, and I got busy with other interests.

Now an F-Body-only club is something I'm interested in. Let me know what you guys decide on, and I'll try and stop by. I move to Texas in May, so hopefully we can work something out.

I found a place that has 98 TA stuff. It is Hawksthirdgenparts.com. They have the fenders for 125 a piece used and like 250 for the nose. Just have to find the headlight assembly and a hood. Hopefully I will get some insurance money. I have to work tomorrow from 10-2 so I cant go lookin for stuff, tried to get the day off but they had already made the schedule for this next week. Maybe next weekend.
