Access to a lift?
Access to a lift?
Anyone here have access to a drive on lift?
I just got my Borla Stingers in for my Z06 and need to put them on the car. Rather than pay someone like $100 to do it, I'd rather do it myself, but I need a lift so I can get the stock exhaust off w/o cutting it (can sell the stock Titanium exhaust for ~$500).
Anyone here have, or know anyone that has access to a lift that I could either use for free or pay a small fee to use myself? (Drive-on only). That would be a big help! Thanks!

Re: Access to a lift?
Hey Mike, glad to see you back on the scene
I take my car to TredAlign. It's primarily an alignment shop for big trucks. Robert Hinton is the owner, and he has a regular drive-on alignment rack as well. He's also owned multiple F-bodies and is a great resource to our local area. His work number is 407-295-7073. If I feel comfortable doing my own work, he just raises the vehicle and lets me go at it.
His shop is located on John Young Parkway. There's a light between OBT & Silverstar...Shader, perhaps? Anyway, if you were heading south on JYP, cross OBT, make a U-turn at the next light (Shader I believe), then turn right at the first entrance. His two bays are on the far right, right next to the Wingfoot facility.

I actually did get contacted by him and he was very cool, offered to let me use his lift, but I ended up having a friend do the install on his lift for me instead. I will keep up with him in the future though as he seems to be an awesome resource to the car scene around here
