93 z28 for sale

93 z red, car is down, I think the lifters are collapsed. cold air, remote start and alarm, mad dog 700r4 trans brand new tires. did a head swap a few months ago and put 97 ws6 heads on it after it overheated. I guess the valves weren't adjusted right. car is stock with about 150,000 miles on it. . Car is at transmission physicians in tampa right now. first $2100 takes it..

well I was advised that is the lifters are collapsed that the cam lobes may be bad now. i do not want to open it up and see. Car ran fine. pm me your phone number and I will have the mechanic give you a call and fill you in his name is Fernando he owns transmission physicison in tampa. It was throwing a quaddrive code from the pcm, we replaced the pcm and its still running bad. he said could be egr, air pump etc. now he found all the rockers really loose and tried to adjust them and cant

this was his pm to me on need2speed.com

I do believe we have found the problem. We pulled the valve covers off so we could adjust the rockers because they were making way too much noise. We found that almost all the rockers were WAY loose. I mean REALLY REALLY loose. Some were coming off the top of the valve. I adjusted them all and then found that the lifters were collapsing. It looks like the problem with this car is the lifters are all toast.
