2-3 spin is this normal

ok bought me 97 camaro today. from the looks of it it seems completely stock, sounds stock as well. when i floor it at any speeds below say 60, when it hits third gear from there it chirps the tires pretty good. just wondering if this normal??

It's definitely not something I would "worry" about. Sounds like it's a strong running car. Maybe it has a shift kit.

I can say from experience that SZ50s are grippy when new, but the grip really goes away as the tire approaches the wear indicators.

actually one of the times i had another person in the car with me (capz94zdog) and he was sayin it might have a shift kit, but it shifts to smooth i believe to have one. the car is ( i am almost pos. completly stock) is in really good shape, possible freak i dont know. but this upcoming wedsday i will be for sure taking it to the track to see what it does. it better do a 14 flat of some kind jsut have to get my launch right. which i have been practicing.
it seems to get off the line a lil better when it has a lil spin going in to it. anyway ill keep u updated

yes I can vouch for it, going on an onramp just getting onto I4 and he nailed it and it barked 3rd. I was like cool, maybee a new trans was put in when the dealer got it? the rears got 2.73's? and it needs bigger gears? who knows but it is a very strong motor. pulled really good through the whole power band. not a bad deal!!

actually i posted earlier that i had firestone tires(ok no thte case sort of). the front tires are firestone like i said and the rear tires are dayton daytona zr. tires are atleast 75% all around, lil dryrotting due to the fact that the car hasnt been drove in over 2 years.
