1992 Mustang GT 5.0 (cheap)
1992 Mustang GT 5.0 (cheap)
Well sorry guys getting sued for medical bills and have a wedding to pay for… (don’t get cancer btw, it sucks) That and the girl had to quit her job to finish grad school(school + job + internship, was too hard) So I have to sell it, really don't want to, but don't want to pay the next insurance bill and I will need to sell it soon.
1992 Ford Mustang GT
77,000 miles
Clean title
5.0, 5-speed
the goods…
-new 140 amp Powermaster alternator, has less then 1,000 miles(I was going to convert to an electric fan)
-battery is from aug 06, replaced some of the grounds, electrical is all good
-SN95 5-lug/4 wheel disc brake conversion
-subframe connectors
-MSD ignition (blaster coil, MSD 6al box)
-80mm MAF
-Autogage Tach
-billet short shifter
-brand new rebuilt tranny, works great, shifts smoother then my 2k Camaro
-newish clutch with firewall adjuster/quadrant
-AC blows cold(but could use a new AC clutch, $75 I think)
-99ish 5-spoke GT wheels
-car sounds like a cam, possible a B or E303, I am leaning towards a B303
-flowmasters with an h-pipe
-Removed smog pump, short belt(less then 1k miles)
-plugs, wires, cap/rotor all pretty new
-can run on 87 if you want.
-rear seat delete
-new kenwood headunit, pioneer 6x9s, ipod input on head unit.
The bad…
-rear just started making noise(if needed I'll put another one in. but leaving it open since a gear change or maybe a 9" wouldn't be a bad idea)
-has rust…
-will not win carshows(mona lisa, looks good form 15 feet but up close is rough)
-Interior is a little beat up but not too bad…
-no tail pipes, it’s a little loud(found a guy in bithlo willing to do a full exhaust for $150 once I put longtubes on(see below), no CATs
All honesty, this car is a good car it was my only car and daily driver for a month, I put like 2k on it while I fixed up my camaro. Has some Michelin pilot sports on it, not lots of life left but some life. I really do not want to sell it, it sucks, just have to put my car hobby on hold. Getting married, and still owe medical bills from my cancer stuff. Just cannot justify more then one car.
$3200 pretty firm, I can sit on the car for awhile, just hoping to sell it by the time my next insurance bill comes up in 2 months.
If you pay.... $3600
I will throw in…
-BBK ceramic coated lontube headers, with 2k on them (not installed)
-Proffesional performance stuff…
-70 mm throttle body
-70 mm EGR plate
-upper and lower intakes(70 mm, and flows better then cobra stuff)
all this stuff costs like ~$600-700 willing to sell for $400 with the car, if not will sell it on corrall.net and ebay. All this stuff should make it a solid 13 second car.
pics form february, on underhood pic, that is the old alternator.

just out of curiosity, what do u think the car would run in the quartermile, a kid i know has one and hes doing a little work, not much, hes and idiot and is saying it will smoke a z28 with heads and cam and intake and full exhaust lol, he will prolly have as much work n it as u have if that...

if I got a 1.9 it would get a low 14ish
thing with 5.0s... jsut bolt ons they will get into the 13s
now heads/cam, and a upper/lower intake they start getting fast. They c
an get into mid 12s with this. There is a combo out there with ported factory iron heads/cam that will get you into the solid 12s n/a then juice from there.
but the big problem is the factory block will crack and give out before the internals do. At about 500hp...
but stuff is dirt cheap for the cars, and they respond well to mods... they can be made faster for cheaper then any 4th gen imo... they just start off slower.
Car looks sweet.. I live near UCF and always wanted another Mustang. Had a white 87 Hatchback. If you still have in a couple of months we'll talk.. Just tight on money right now... if anyone else is interested... this really looks like a clean *** car!! TTT for ya!
