LT4KM Worth it?

I'm in the process of replacing my LT1 right now and as I was tearing the old one apart I busted the crap out of the connector on the old KM. With a stock LT1 is it worth it to spend the extra few bucks for the LT4? Or should I just get the OE replacement?

Spend the money, if you've got headers, it's a good idea.

Even on a stock application, the LT4 knock module is a good idea. Anything to eliminate false knock is in my book.

Are you talking about the knock module or the knock sensor? Hard to understand how you could bust the knock module connector, since it is buried deep in the PCM?????

On the other hand, it is easy to break the connector on the sensor, since it is on the bottom of the block. And if that's what you broke, there is no LT4 sensor.
