Does 500.00 sound right for a 94 lt1 66k spun crank or main bering with fuel injection incl? Saw one on a local board may try to buy if it is a good deal. I am looking for something to build.

That's not a bad price, but a local junkyard here in northeast MS has Caprice/Impala LT1s for $500 running. I bought one last month for my Stepson's '94 Formula. Installed his ported al. heads and a CC304 cam and new timing chain on it and installed it in the car. It runs good.

If someone would confirm this, it would help, but in the past I have heard that if you have any spun main bearings, your block is trash. I would stay away from it.

Just my .02 and if someone could confirm this, it would help the both of us out.
