help needed my car wont start please help!!!!!!!!!!!

yesterday i washed my engine with engine foam cleaner from soldier seal gunk but i guess i didnt wait to long enought so the thing is that i went to pick up my girl friend and on the way there
i felt that when i passed 3k rpms my car would feel like it was going to stop like if it was reallly cold so i drove slowly but on my way back i went to rent a movie but the car wont start after i got in the car again so i left it there for the night and today morning i went to see if it was dry and it started but the rpms would varie and it would not stay at idle it would accelerate and then deaccelerate so after like 20 min it stopped and would start again
i tried with jumper cable but it didnt work so i guess is not the alternator
help please me i also pushed it and it didnt work either
thanks

im afraid you might have soaked the distributor (aka optispark) right behind the water pump. Im assuming you drive an LT1. If the opti has taken a dump, you will need to tow your car home and order a new opti, then do a search in here for the many opti install guides there are. Its not a difficult job. Hope things turn out well. For future reference, avoid using any high pressure hoses or the like in the engine compartment. If you want to clean it up just use a rag and some simple green.

All of lifes problems can be traced to the Opti.
