Question Procedure/techiques for adjusting Spohn torque arm?

I just put in a Spohn adjustable torque arm along with my FLP stage 4 4L60E.

Does anyone have a write up or can you give me the details on making the right adjustments to get the pinion angle correct with the adjustments on the torque arm?

Do I need a magnetic degree dial instrument or are there other tools or tricks?

I do know the standard pinion angle numbers run -2* for basic street use bolt on performance all the way to -4* for higher performance and dragstrip purposes.

TIA

Ken
