Cam guys: pls post your gas mileage!!

I was looking on some imput on what type of gas mileage you guys are getting with the different cams. I'm mainly looking for the hot cam, cc305, XE 218/224, and XE 224/230. It doesn't matter if you have tuning or you don't. I know, i know, your not supposed to worry about gas mileage, but my car is a daily driver. Thanks guys, i really appreciate any imput!

JJ

I'd expect about a 3mpg drop or so from the cams you've listed.

With the mods I have in my sig, I'm getting 10-12mpg in the city, and 14 on the highway. I drive 75mph on the highway (about 2850rpm with 3.73's) which is why I only get 14mpg or so. In town I just have a lead foot and raised shift points, hence the 12mpg. Also my heads are pretty hogged out and have 2.02/1.60 valves which isn't helping fuel effeciency.

If your keeping your heads stock, keeping 3.23's, and the car has a decent tune, you should be able to get 14 or 15mpg in the city, and 17 or 18 on the highway.

Here's my gas mileage- when the tank gets close to empty I fill it up. The way I drive, knowing the actual numbers would just be depressing.

ACA performace

Why would you say that??? Running 110 octane and 12.7 comp with 3.73's . Just trying to understand why you would think that.

I'm only getting about 130 miles per tank with the mods in the sig. Hopefully I can gain a few more MPG with some different programming.

I get about 12 around town and about 19 with a city/Hwy. combination. Dunno about straight hwy driving but it will go over 20. With the mods listed below.
