i got my car back with my new clutch in it

ooooo it feels good to drive her again.

i got the borg werner brute force clutch. it is so light compared to the stock clutch it doesn't take any force to press it down. and it bights better than the old one. i can feel it pull past 3grand on the tach. (my old clutch was wasted)

I guess he was referring to the old clutch slipping past 3K.

How much did it cost you to get the clutch replaced?

I've got a t-56, I'm sitting here fighting with the god damn thing Wrastling trying to separate the trans from the bell.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Did you jack the front of the motor up?
Id disconnect the motor mounts then jack it up, its still tight with them connected, it is a bitch though, good luck.

i had never heard of the clutch either but its made by a good company who knows thier transmissions so i figured id try it out. the whole clutch package cost me 340, it fit my price range perfectly. i got it installed plus a new rear main seal and new fluid and reserfaced flywheel for 380. so all together it cost about as much as a cf dual friction. i normally do my own work but didn't even want to try and mess with the transmission if i can't pick it up i usually send it away to get worked on. this spring i willbe running the car so we can see if it holds down the track. for now i am very very pleased with it
