Smile 24-2600 Stall 94 Z28

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A STALL CONVERTOR FOR MY 94Z WITH A 4L60E AND 2.73 GEARS. I READ ON HERE FROM TIME TO TIME THAT THE 94'S DON'T LIKE STALL DUE TO SHIFTING PROBLEMS. CAN YOU GUYS CLEAR THIS UP FOR ME BEFORE I ORDER THE STALL TOMMOROW, THANKS. I AM LOOKING TO GET A 2600 STALL 2.4 STR 10 INCH AND A TRANS GO SHIFT KIT AND DO THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. WILL I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS OR SHOULD IT BE A NO BRAINER. ALSO DOES ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA HOW MY CAR WILL RUN AFTER THIS. WILL I FEEL IT OR AM I WASTING MY TIME DOING THIS UPGRADE. ANY INFO WOULD HELP, THANKS...

I'd change your gears first. Get some 373's or maybe even 410's. And if you are going to get a TC you might as well get the best. Here's a link:

Just fill out a spec sheet and they'll recommend a BADASS custom built TC.

Here's a link that might also help. Just so you don't have to take my word for it.

First of all>>>>turn the ALL CAPS off>>>>I had that habit, but some folks will reply 2-? times on that subject. Lucky you---until now. Reason: All caps=yelling.

Anyways, on two of my camaro's I have the Vigilante TQ. On the 94 I have a 2800 stall. On the 90 I have a 2400 stall. I have stock 3.23 gears on both and think that your 2.73 will need to be bumped up a bit----to get max results. If you check out different web sites, they usually sell the Trans Go shift kit with the Vigilante 9.5" TQ at a $ saving "kit" price. Try TByrne, Thunderracing, or www.racenet.net. You will definitely see a good result in your time slips with the Vigilante---others--I wouldn't know. I dropped .45 sec with the 2800 on the 94 and .38 on the TPI-350. All in all, its your $ and spend it with quality products.

DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL A TRANS FLUID COOLER! You might regret it afterwards with all the new added power----believe me!

hope this helps some>>>>>laterz
