do the timing cover and rear main seal gaskets need RTV?

hey guys. i did a search but some people used RTV and others didn't, i just want to make sure i do it the proper way. the gaskets in question are the ones that go against the block not the oil seals themselves.

thanks for any help

I put copper spray gasket on all of my gaskets. Timing/water/head/intake, etc

Use gasgacinch to glue the gaskets to the block, then use a thin bead of silicone to seal the cover and the rear seal housing.
