hi side R-134 connector for 95 lt1 camaro

the hi side R-134 connector has little clearance for the standard R-134 adapter for my AC guages. Is there a special tool or adapter that allows me to connect my guages to the hi side of the AC system? The port faces forward behind the top of the radiator and only has an inch or so between the connector and the radiator. TIA.

This is about the shortest I have ever seen, Amazon.com: Robinair 18191A R-134a High Side Service Coupler with Red Actuator: Automotive . Most service couples are at least 1 1/2 inch long. Next alternative would be to remove the fitting in the car and find a 90* elbow if that would fit you situation. Of course that means opening the system, vacuuming and re-charging. I assume you have a custom setup that's causing the problem. Can you post up a pic ?
