Exclamation LT1 vs LS1 w/= HP

I was just at ls1.com and the question of; if an LT1 and LS1 camaro both had the same Hp which would be faster. This appeared to cause a great divide in the world of Z28s.
Please before the you start your engines remember both have the same Hp.

Same car? Same gearing? Same tranny? Same torque? Then the LS1 w/60lbs less weight.

Same, But overall I think the LT1 is lighter (100lbs) even with the cast block

Same ??? well thats easy, which ever one im driving haha, no really, its hard to tell. My old LS1 pulled so hard in 3rd gear! But my old 94 ran the same 13.2 ET. Ofcourse my LS1 was near stock and my LT1 had many bolt ons. I think the LT1 would get out infront and the LS1 would catch up. It also depends on when and where this car is making its power, regardless of if they are the same? or am i lost?
