After running at SLP day yesterday I have decided that I need more than bolt-ons..

I have decide that running 12.9xx's was cool with bolt-ons but now that I was up in Ennis running my car I need more to earn some respect. Would like to be running in the 11's by October of this year. I will need to shave a full secong off by then. I will have a budget of $2000 to do it with. Lets hear what you guys think to do.. Here are some of my thoughts..
1. Could install Ported heads and a Cam and that would probably get me there. Flip side engine has 110,000 miles but does run strong.
2. Install a 125 shot of Nitrous that may get me close. Flip side 110,000 miles again.
3. Build a 383 Stroker on the side. Use a base budget of $3000 to do it with. Then when its time to install the engine swap it out and sell mine thats in the car for $1000.

A friend of mine (i'm sure he'll chime in here later) ran a TNT 100 wet shot on his CAI/catback '97 Z28 M6 w/ ET Streets and went 11.70s. On motor this was a mid 13 car...you're faster than that right now. So get a 12-bolt rear and a wet N2O kit (TNT, NX, etc) for around $2500 total and enjoy 11-second-fame.

I would say the heads and cam. Besides, thats half your engine rebuilt right there. Im sure the bottom end will be fine even with 100K+ miles.

seeing as how you have an A4 I say spray it on the stock rear until the bitch blows up.... we have guys in our club pushing 1.4 60's on the stock rear..

however I also know the person mentioned above and jetting up to 150 shot and now w/ headers he is going 11.30's... @ 120+
