What is the benefit of boxed verse tubular control arms...

 

boxed is stronger

tubular is lighter

for most street, normal track applications, tubular is more than addiqate

 

Boxed are generally smaller but at the same time you also give up a little more ground clearence.

 

i have boxed BMRs and a friend of mine has tubular BMRs. the difference between the 2 is that mine are heavier and larger. you can see mine pretty easy whereas you have to look up under the car to see my friends tubular frame connectors.

 

...and rod ended units dont bind. Dont expect to road race with boxed control arms
