I picked up a 93 Trans am late last year. the car had been lowered when i got it, and it road like crap. Besides the fact that it rode rough it sounded like it was always bottoming out in the front by makin poppin noises at every little bump. So i decided to bring it back to stock, new monroe sensatrac struts, new factory front coil springs, and new shocks and springs for the rear. I had a shop install the new springs on the struts. I reinstalled everything back to normal and it rides better but still have the dang poppin noises at every little bump. almost sound like the front end is gonna fall out. ive got it tore apart again now tryin to figure it out. I bought a new strut bearing plate insulator Im not really sure if this is the issue or not. Im assuming they just lay in the top of the strut mount? anyway....any ideas? it also has new lower ball joints.
