Moroso CAI filter replacement

I need to change the filter on my Moroso CAI. Is there any other filters that would fit besides moroso? thanks

IIRC, its a wierd size and there is not a K&N that will perfectly fit. Moroso sells a replacement filter.

I thought the Moroso CAI was the same as a Callaway Honker, and the Honker came with a K&N filter.

The Moroso has an oval adapter that the filter clamps to. It's an oval with the same circumference as a 4" circle so you might be able to put any filter on it that has a 4" inlet if you can squeeze it into the right shape.

If its a K&N, its good for 20 cleanings at 50K mile intervals. Get the K&N "recharge" kit with cleaning soap and oil in it. Follow the instructions carefully. Do not over oil.

Have you checked the K&N website to see if you can find one with the same dimensions?

Do what he says. Save yourself $52 plus shipping and waiting. You can buy a recharge kit at friggin Autozone.
