alright guys i need a little help here, im ready to tear down the top end of the Z im running a 100hp shot right now, im wanting to get more outta the car i can get a set of heads from a guy that is local that have been ported and all the machine work i do know they are ready for bigger valves, they are just bare, not sure on the specs though, i also have a stock intake manifold i could get worked over, what is a good cam setup, i want something that sounds nasty but not to rough for the street, i work also like to know what springs, pushrods, lifters etc. to use this is my first lt1 build any suggestions thanks

 

Might look into the bottom end as well.We are talking big bucks here.Nobody else chimed in,so I gave it a shot.Hope this helps.But really,might talk to a race engine builder before you try this.beer time.
