Sorry, I've been so busy lately I haven't had any time to listen to them, I must have missed your email, resend it and ill get to it asap, 2010 stuff will be here in three weeks i believe, we are working on the site to update for pics of the 2010 camaro parts as we speak.

 

Okay, these doors weigh 17-20 pounds... how much does the factory door weigh? I'm more interested in the weight savings than the actual weight.

Are there additional benefits to a CF door over FRP, beyond the additional 3 pounds of weight savings?

I've heard that CF doesn't hold paint very well. True?

 

Thats a great question, since ive been searching hi and low for that answer for the past two days now, i wanted to include that in the thread, alot of people prefer the cf look as well as the weight savings and stability. Painting on CF is like anything else w/ a clear coat, it has to be prepped properly and it can be painted with ease. Any good body shop or experienced painter will have no problem making it look great.

 

Closest number I have seen to realistic is 60lbs per door, however i do not know whether that is with the hardware or w/o..

 

60 sounds in the ballpark but on the light side IMO... so I'd guess it's without hardware.
