Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial tire pressure?
Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial tire pressure?
I just got a set of 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson ET Street radials the other day. I'm wondering what tire pressure everyone is running on the street vs. the track?
I think my street psi is 26-28. Never took them to the track on this car but snapped a rear end with this exact pair of tires on an ls1 car a couple years back without lowering the pressure.
They don't need a huge burnout to get sticky in a hurry.

ive driven those tires on the street with 24lbs. even as low as 21lbs. at the track i will get them down to 14lbs for some extra grip. this was in my mustang though. ive hard 10bolts will go pretty quick. i guess ill find out once i get my maro!
I have the same size tire, at the strip I found it best to run 20 lbs. It is trial and error depending on vehicle and variables but here is a recommende guide.
