inner wheel brake crud. best stuff to remove it?

Ok got some rims that I am putting on the car and want the rims to be clean on the inside too. Just wanted to see what the best stuff or the best luck someone had with a cleaning product out there to get the job done so they are back to like new.

Its all that brownish brake dust in the inner wheel. suggestions?

I am doing this in the house. So I do not have access to a pressure washer or anything high pressure or stuff like that or hose.

Well, if you can get them clean I found that spray on wax helps keep them clean longer.

Update:

simple..I used a magic eraser..well 3 actually. But just some water and that and it came right off. Then had some NuFinish lying around and coated the inner wheel with that and wiped it off.
