Will 10.5" Wide x 18" with 50MM Offset fit in FRONT? 4th Gen LT1.

Anyone know if an 18x10.5" will work up front on a LT1 car?

I found a set of (4) all black Z06 rims locally but all four are 10.5" wide. I would likely run something like a 315/30/18 rear and 275/35/18 front if I get these.

Hoping a 10.5" wide wheel will clear from rubbing in the front on a 4th Gen. with reasonable size tires.

* READ the sticky at top already. Could not see if those wheels would NOT fit up front or not *

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks buddy ...

Did some math - from your mounting surface to edge of rim should be 195.7 MM and these should only stick in the wheel well 191.35MM

So technically, I should be able to run these. Will be using a narrower tire up front than you. As long as its not taller I am good

What size spacer would you estimate will be needed to use on stock brakes?

for some reason I want to say it's a 1/4 that needed, but I don't remember for sure, it's been awhile since I checked. My advice would be to get the wheel and put it on and then measure for a spacer that'll put it right where you want it.

Thanks bud.

By chance, can you use the stock wheel studs?

the spacer is 3/16 IIRC. i had a 295-35-18 on an OEM 18x10.5 and it fit the front fine with no rubbing issues although the lip of the wheel was EXTREMELY close to the top of the spindle.

in my case I couldn't use the stock wheel studs. there wasn't enough thread engagement on the lugnuts, I replaced them with some ARPs
