Excessive idle problem after radiator hose burst

My camaro's upper radiator hose burst the other day so I replaced it. Problem is that now the car idles around 1700 rpm. This did not happen until the hose burst and that doesn't make sense to me. The car is a 5 speed and does have the air pump still intact. When the hose burst, it leaked down onto the air pump and that's when the problem started. I checked and replaced the IAC and that did not help the situation. The car still idles around 1700 rpm and I hear what sounds like an air leak from the driver side of the engine, but I can't find any vacuum leaks. As far as I know the air pump is still working because when I pulled the hose off it was still sucking air from the air intake. Did the water possibly damage the air pump, causing it to make the car idle high?

Did you unhook teh battery for a few minutes then hook it back up after IAC replacement? If not then try that.

Yeah I reset the computer and the car still idles very high. I pulled the fuse for the air pump and that did not change anything so I must have a vacuum leak somewhere. Problem is that I can't find it

I found the leak. It was the hose that plugs into the PCV. Problem fixed.
