My modified M90 in my rear drive Shelby Charger

I thought maybe I'd post this so people could see you can modify the supercharger inlet. You can see that it will not stick out the back too far. Believe me, it's just as tight in the Charger because it has a very short distance from radiator to firewall. The end of the supercharger doesn't go back any further than the thermostat housing on the lower intake. I think this should work for you Fbody folks. I can't post pics yet so here's a link to CarDomain. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3330131

I guess i should give a little more details on the swap. Originally most of those who know, these cars were originally front wheel drive. After finishing my 78 Lesabre Turbo Sport Coupe I wanted to "build". What I mean is to actually do some fabrication. I picked the kind of car I had in high school. It's easy finding a Shelby Charger compared to a yellow/black 79 024Omni so that's what I started with. I've seen people put V8s in 'em, but I didn't want to hack the firewall to make it fit. The L67 is what I decided on mated to a 3800 F body T5. The rear suspension came from an 88 Pont. 6000 STE with All wheel drive. Of course the differential from the Pontiac wasn't meant for any horsepower so I knew I needed to use the independent diff from something like the T bird and have some custom CV shafts made. It's running, I have a few more details to do with the steering geometry because it used to have rear steer (rack&pinion behind the wheels), and I changed it to front steer so I have to correct the spindles a bit. BTW, the car comes in at under 2500 lbs. so it should scoot pretty good.
