V8 Tank on V6?

V8 Tank on V6?

How simple is it to swap a tank and fuel pump from an LS1 Camaro to a 99 V-6 Camaro?

well if you consider dropping a fuel tank to be simple....I don't know how it is on camaros cause i've never have to do that but i know on my old truck it was hard as hell to get the tank off

It's not simple. To drop the tank, you need to drop the rear axel and suspension. The pump can be swapped via the back door method if thats all you're trying to do. Why do you need to swap the tank?

Also btw, just incase you didn't realise, the fuel pump on the LS1 is DIFFERENT than the one on the V6. The LS1 pumps alot more fuel so unless you're running some serious internal mods, you will wind up running rich...

Is the tank not the same on the v6?? I know its the same size and just assumed it was the same...

On 4th gens anyways..
