I need some help guys!
Hi I am looking at a set of c6 style vette wheels, and I need to know if they will fit my 98 Camaro. I'm sure the info I need is on here somewhere and I will continue looking, but I need to move fast on these so I'm asking for help also. Thanks in advance!!!

Injuneer, if I beat the inner wheel well a little and cut off the bump stop do you think these wheels would work? I know that there is alot of information on here, but when it comes to actual wheel fitment I really need somebody to just say DO THIS AND THEY WILL FIT.
Unfortunately... sometimes you have to do a little work to get the answer. Based on the data you gave, you will most likely have the same issues described specifically in the FAQ. Note that it clearly says in the FAQ writeup that all these cars seem to be slightly different. Some people have bolted on wheels with a 7.93" backsapce with no problems at all. Others have had to cut and hammer things. Someone running the same slicks/wheels as I was had to actually cut the inner fender liners out, while I didn't.
Sorry if you find the FAQ to tiring to read through.... but its written to cover all the possibilities. No one can guarantee that your situation while be identical to someone elses. There are too many variables involved.

Thanks. Its not that I don't want to do the work. I just want to make sure what I think I am understanding is right. I read through the 17x11 sticky and most of the measurements that are said to work seemed to match the wheel information on the wheels I am looking at. I was on the verge of buying them based of what seemed like a good match, but wanted to double check here with somebody that obviously is more experienced and knowledgeable with wheel fitment than me. It turns out what I thought would be no problem actually could be a headache. Thanks for the help. Again not being lazy, just looking for expert advice.
