Will a Cloyes timing set fit my 95z?
I read somewhere that i would need a different timing cover? But im not sure. Im putting in a cc503 , gmp 1.6 rr, cc hardened push rods, beehive springs.
But I also want to change the stock timing chain. If this does need a different cover is there anything that will fit right in?
Thanks

The cloyes and the electric water pump are not much more. I paid less than $100 for my cloyes double roller set. A csr ewp is $180 shiped on ebay. All I had to do was have the crank shaft sensor tuned out, install the ewp and freeze plug the water pump hole in the cover. I did no clearance on the cover. The lt4 extreme duty is $250. The cloyes double chain is stronger and you will gain about 10hp at the tires from the ewp.

i actually have the cloyes double roller set on my car. You need/i used an ewp, 95'-97' timing cover{might need minor clearancing} w/crank position sensor(wont be hooked up just fills hole in cover), 95'-97' cam(dowel pin is different), and a 95'-97' opti
