I'm putting together the engine that someone else took apart. The alternator has two wires coming out of it and I am at a loss where one of them goes. The mystery connection has a black and a green wire about 12 inches long. I cannot find a plug for it.

they must have cut the wires from the harness or something... there should be a plug that goes to the alternator, and then the black and green wires go back into the wire loom with all the other sensors etc...
