alright im positive i need to replace the opti in my car. i have a 94 Caprice Wagon with the LT1. i've owned 3 other LT1 F-bodys but this is my first b-body. so my question is, what opti do i need? i know it is vented on the b-body's, however what drive mechanism is it?

since the b-bodies had vented opti's, does that mean i need the one for a 95-97 or does it use the older drive mechanism but is vented and specific to a b-body. any help is awesome.

awesome. and the vented f-body opti is identical correct? i know water pumps and whatnot are different, i just dont wanna get the wrong damn part and be stuck for longer period of time.

 

Yes, there is no specific opti for f-body only.
