New best ET, help for 12's

Ran a new best Friday nite since I've put on the Kooks headers, 3:73 gears and BFG drag radials.
60' 1.966
330 5.519
1/8 8.499
mph 82.03
1000 11.077
1/4 13.242
mph 104.48
Now I'm itching to get to the 12's. What's the cheapest way to get there. I was still getting some slight wheels spin so I'm not sure a convertor would help that much.

Sfc's, Lca's and a linelock.

Also try to get more weight out of the car. Spare and jack, front sway bar, front bumper support. It will also help out a lot with weight transfer.

Already got subframe connectors, thinking rear drag shocks and a line lock to heat the tires better. How hard to do the 1.6 RR's.

not that bad. Id say the hardest part is adjusting them.

Cutout maybe? A gear would do it.

a gear or stall, both would really be great. But either should do it.

Otherwise i would do a ewp and 1.6rr's. The pump and rockers should be worh 16-20rwhp.

My brothers car has a stall, and I don't. After going a round with his car vs my non-stalled car, I am a believer. The best part was he still feathered it out of the hole. If he had DRs, it would have been ugly. Stalls help your 60ft as well.

I wouldn't recommend 1.6 rockers at this point there are better mods to be had

1.6 rockers = $180-$320
springs = $180-$300
------------------------
$360 - $620 estimated not including valve stem seals, spring compressor, pushrods (optional),etc

on the high end that's enough for a decent convertor, you'll want to pick up a tranny cooler if you do a convertor, the b&m super cooler is a great unit and can be had for around $60

a gear or stall, both would really be great. But either should do it.
he already has gears

you can get lt4 springs for 40 bucks. Rockers are 300 new. So 340 all day.

Or you can find some used for real cheap. 150+40 for springs. 190-200 all day. Not bad in my eyes.
