LT'x showdown or test and tune track rental Sept 7 Cordova IL

Okay guys I was hoping to hear a little more interest then what I've seen so I need to know if I'm going to have enough cars to cover the track rental cost?

I talked to Erik at Midwest Chassis out of Pekin Il today. He is the main party for putting on this race and I told him I could bring in some cars to make this happen. The problem I see is if I can't bring in 75 or 100 LT'x cars I don't want to be paying the difference in the track rental fees. So I need to know for sure how many cars are going to be here for the event. I wish I would have put more time in trying to get sponsers to put up money for the payouts but that didn't happeng. (Working 50-70 hours a week to by the car parts then family stuff left little time for working on this)

I would like to see a show of hands on how many cars will be coming? I would also like to see what you guys think of having LS'x cars come also? I know I know. If there are not enough LT'x cars to run the classes, we can go ahead and rent the track for LT'x and LS'x cars as a test and tune with some heads up racing for the what ever is left after the track is paid for.

There will be the concession stands and photographer at the track. The track prep will be good

So what are your thoughts? And who is coming?

If your worried about covering the costs, (I hate to say this) invite the LSx cars. I'll try and make it, but I'm going to have to take a chance by driving it there and back (hopefully). It hasn't let me down so far, but then again, I'm not that fast.
