i was driving the car today and when i got back home i noticed the engine was knocking, i checked the oil and it was fine! i was thinking it was a rod but im not sure. it does it all of the time now at any rpm. if anyone could help with this i would appreciate.

 

Could be a rod bearing, maybe you can get us a video of this knocking? Moving the camera all around the motor so we can try to tell where it is coming from.

 

You checked the oil level or the oil pressure? I would advise against running it until you determine the problem---no point in making matters worse.

 

just throwin it out their cuz it happened to me but possible loose rocker or maybe it came all the way off and your lifter is hittin the valve cover

 

oil level and pressure is fine, i had a couple people look at it and one said the rod and another said something about the rockers

 

I would pull the valve covers and check the rockers.

 

I broke a valvespring and it was knocking as hell, thought it was a rod bearing. So it could be something in the valvetrain.
