LS7 Lifter debate.....any solid conclusions?

Guys,

I've read a lot of info on the LS7 lifters....however I have not found a thread that settles the debate as to if they are a stock replacement for an LT1.

Did anyone do a comparison of the lifters? Anyone using them with stock pushrods?

No debate, i've got a couple lt1 and gen 1 sbc engines assembled with them with over 200k miles combined. Stock pushrods will work in a stock engine.

They dropped right into my engine and worked fine with 7.200 pushrods.

Does anyone know if the LS7 lifter part number has superseded the LT1 part number?

There are two LT1 lifter part numbers and they are still good. So, no, they have not been superceded.
