Rebuilt T56 ('94-'97), (Stock+) replacement for a broken T56 (mid-Atlantic)
LT1 T56 - replacement
Fresh Rebuilt (Stock+) T56 ('94-'97) for sale:
(Just Needs bellhousing !!! All the sensors/plates/etc. missing from the picture are on and included)
All the internal components were checked/tested and replaced if needed. It includes the upgraded steel 3/4 shift fork. Synchros were all replaced. A .002" preload was shimmed for performance/endurance driving/usage. The mainshaft and 5/6 driven gear were replaced with takeouts, which is why the trans was rebuilt in the first place. The case was hot-tank cleaned, but not sandblasted for appearance. The skipshift paddle was not re-installed, so the stock solenoid can be connected and it won't throw a code.
The trans is located in Elkton, MD (21921) and can be delivered up to 100mi from there.
$1000+core for the trans, or $1400 outright.
