Update on my V8 swap, still no start...

1994 LT1 Motor
1994 LT1 Tuned PCM
1994 Engine Harness
08/1993 Dash Harness
1995 3.4L Chasis

So heres the problem I had, after putting in the motor i had no fuel prime or spark of anykind. The fix: I had a 1995 Dash harness and a 1994 Engine harness, I purchased a "1994" harness from a board member who owns a scrap yard. When I called him he told me it was out of a 3.4L made in 08/93. My question is: That is considered a 1994? or still a 1993...

After hooking it up, i still have no prime. BUT! i forgot to plug in the connector behind the driver that controls the fuel pump and ABS.

-If I am not mistaken if the PCM sends a signal to the relay, and the relay doesn't send a signal from the pump the vehicle will not start... correct?

-is the 08/93 (has a 12 PIN ALDL) dash going to work with my 94 harness?

thanks in advance, i can't wait to get this Z up and running!

Hmnnn...

welp, I checked my brothers '94 3.4L (not the one I am doing the swap on) and his dash harness has a 12 pin ALDL... i suppose 08/93 is a "1994".

The ALDL connector wasn't changed to 16 pin until 95.

Okay, so then it is possible that because there isn't a signal comming from the pump to the relay (Because i forgot to plug in the connector behind the driver) it's safe to say the PCM isn't going to allow the vehicle to start... Lemmie go plug that PITA in...
