Can you run .560 lift safely on stock pistons with 54cc heads??

I am asking this question because I have a cam with .525 lift with 1.5 rockers and I want to put 1.6 rockers to increase the lift to .560. The heads are a set of ported edelbrock lt1's with 54cc. I heard that I should be okay usually up to .600 lift without any clearance issues. Does anyone have any experience or input before I have to put clay on the piston and check it for myself??

Thanx

Everyone's combo will differ, so it's always a good idea to check.

With that being said, I've used a cam with .568 lift on an LT1 that had stock pistons, 52cc combustion chambers, and thinner impala SS head gaskets with no clearance issues at all

it depends on the camshaft, where its installed etc. Lift doesn't matter iff the piston is further down the cyl.

I run a little lift with a 50.9 cc chamber,.005 deck and .040 gasket and have .080 PTV
